The IMAGINATIONS Study Tour includes extensive cooperation between students and companies. In the paragraph below the possibilities to cooperate with our study tour are described. Roughly speaking, there are two types of cooperation possible. The first one is based on close and intensive contact with one or a couple of students through contract research. The other type is based on gathering brand awareness among mechanical engineering students.
Contract Research:
Contract researches are cases, which the participants of the IMAGINATIONS Study Project perform for companies, in order to raise some funds for the trip to Dubai and Indonesia. It is also a good opportunity for the participators to get in touch with companies and to use the knowledge they have obtained during their studies in practice. The contents of these researches are independent of the study project, and are determined by the company that provides the researches. This could be solving a mechanical design problem or doing a literary research. The participators work (usually in pairs) 100 hours per person. The exact time span will be determined together with the company that provides the contract research.
Gathering brand awareness
There are a several
possibilities to improve your company’s brand awareness among mechanical
engineering students:
- Sponsor packages which differ in contents. We offer for example a full company profile in a report or the company logo and name placed on our internet site.
- Also at this point your company and our study association can have a meaningful co-operation. Because in order of the research it is interesting to make excursions to companies which are in one way or another related to the theme of the studytour. This can happen within the Netherlands but also in possible company locations in Indonesia or Dubai, or even better, both.
